The Linutop 2 software and operating system are shipped pre-installed on the internal flash memory. This 1GB (1) memory includes 400 MB of free space to add software or specific files. The Linutop system can be locked by a password, so it can’t be altered by virus or mishap.

Internet Access

The Linutop comes with Firefox configured with pre-installed extensions to access different web content: Flash, PDF, Microsoft Word, Excel or Powerpoint documents. The Linutop can be used as a ready to use Internet access computer.

Media Player

VLC is a standard media player able to read a wide variety of audio and video formats: AVI, Xvid, DivX, MP3, MPEG-1/2/4. In addition to these files, the Linutop can also read DVD, VCD, CD and audio flows, network radio and webTV, Television TNT. The Linutop software has been optimized to watch video files in full screen mode.

The Linutop can be used as a robust and professional multi-media player.

Office applications

Open Office is compatible with Microsoft Office suite, the most widely used in businesses. You can then read and edit Microsoft Word, Excel or PowerPoint documents.

The Linutop can be used as a business computer.
